My 19th Birthday!!!

Ciao Famiglia,
Here are some pictures from my birthday this last friday. I had a wonderful day! It was a good birthday. It was a little weird because I wasn't home with my family, but it was still good. I'm really glad Bub is here, that made it easier and feel more like my birthday. I love him so much. He, David, and their friend Barrett (sp?) called me at 12:02 AM on my b-day and sang to me. It was super sweet! So here are the pictures. They are a little out of order, but that's ok.
So here's me and Bub at Cafe Rio. This was the second picture attempt of us two. The first one was the typical Jesse face and I got mad and made him take another one. So I feel like I got a lot accomplished with this one because I think we both look super cute!
Ok, so this isn't the picture of Michelle, Heather, and I that I meant to put in, but I don't feel like re-writing/re-arranging the whole blog to stick a cuter picture of us in. So you guys just get to see how goofy we are :D But this was also at Cafe Rio. It was so nice of Heather to come down to eat dinner with me. It was good to see her!
So, BYU students don't have wild parties or anything like that, but that doesn't mean we don't have crazy fun! Haha, we have awesome Rubix's Cube Tournaments. This is Jason and Jenni racing (best 3 out of 5) for the Ultimate Rubix's Cube. This is in my lobby. After I had dinner with the BFF's from home, I came back and all my friends were waiting to play games. It was super fun. But once this crazy tournament started, everyone was working on figuring out the Rubix's Cube. That's BYU for you! Go Cougars!!!
Ok, so this is the Skyroom in the Wilk. I had already gotten lunch with Haley and Chelsea, but they didn't know that Jason and Karen were planning on kidnapping me (which I didn't know either, obviously). Ok, so here's the story. I got a call from Jason the night before asking if I could go over Anatomy with him at Noon because we were going to open lab at 1. I said sure. So I was in the library, and then all of sudden, he blindfolds me and then he and Karen put a sign on me that says "Kiss me, its my birthday" and a crown that said "Birthday Princess." Then they walked me all over Brigham Square and all around the Wilk (meanwhile, Karen is being hit on while she's escorting a blindfolded Birthday Girl around - guys are weird) And then we ended up in the Skyroom with Jason, Karen, and Jason's sister and nephew Harrison (who is so adorable). But it was super fun, even though I wasn't hungry. That was a highlight!
Here's me and Chelsea in the Wilk Terrace for our ward activity. We had Pizza (which I didn't eat because I was eating Cafe Rio later) and then we played games and went down to the Bowling Alley which our ward rented out. It was super fun!
Here's Jason and I at the Bowling Alley. He got a hair cut and it looks way good. I just wanted to put this picture in :D
Here's my girls and I (Haley and Chelsea) at the Bowling Alley. Basically I hadn't bowled since I think I was like 13, so that was interesting at first, but I progressed. Of course the one time I got a strike, nobody saw. I was so mad, I was all excited and cheering for myself, and then I turn around to get some support and cheering from the team... nothing, everybody was looking at something on the table. I got over it though, it was mainly just funny that nobody saw.
Here's Jesse, David, Cody, and I at Cafe Rio (I told you the pictures were out of order) Umm... so Cody's trying to grow a mustache. "Trying to" being the key phrase in that sentence. I'm not feeling it. But I just like this picture and I think its fun!

So thanks to everyone for calling and wishing me a Happy Birthday! I was sad that I couldn't be with you all on my day, but that's ok, you were with me in spirit :D But I will see you in less than a month for Vanessa's shower!!! Yay!!!! I'm super excited. Awesome invitation P.S. Ann, it looks so good. And I love that picture of you Ness, so cute! Well I love you all, and I promise I will be better about updating the blog. Peace Out!!!

Update... Sorry Its Been Forever

Ciao Famiglia!
I know its been a while since my last post, do I decided to put lots of pictures on this one. I'm sad to say that I'm writing this at 1 AM because I can't fall asleep. I went to bed at 9 because I was EXHAUSTED, but I woke up at midnight and haven't been able to sleep since. Its partly a good reason I guess. I've become obsessed with Anatomy and am reciting skull parts as I lay in bed. Its a little ridiculous, but maybe that will be good for me grade and knowledge wise. :D Alright, on to the pictures:
This is me and David at the Alumni Santa Bash on December 21st. This is basically making up for the first picture me and David had when he got home. On his way back to Cali, they stopped in Provo to see all of us and eat some Cafe Rio (which sounds SO good right now) and he was still a missionary. So Mariel had her camera out as usual and was snapping pictures of David with everybody. Well Cody and Jesse were boys and Michelle was his sister, so I was the only one who couldn't hug him. So we just awkwardly stood next to each other. I'm sure its one of the more awkward pictures I've taken. So this one is to make up for that.

I put this one on here because it just shows how Leanne basically is the love of my life :D She makes me laugh so much. This was on our little excursion and I was playing around with my new camera (Thanks Mom and Dad, I LOVE it!!!) But this picture just mainly rocks.

This is the 5 of us at Triangle Square (oxymoron) in Newport Beach on our outing in our attempt to find a Jamba Juice. We were successful and used Leanne's Jamba cards. Any opportunity for have free things, I take. But I just really liked this picture of us in an elevator. I just like us, I think we're cute.

This is part of Briana and I's first Photoshop experiment. Quite successful I believe. We made it Pop Art, so there are 3 others which look similar with different color variations which are now hanging on my closet doors. Its funny because people don't realize it's me and they just think its a cool poster. But the winner of the "Really You Think That?" Award goes to the Costco lady who thought that I painted my face and hair for every picture and just happened to get the same look and positioning. Ok, really? Who thinks that? Good job, Anairb. These pictures are amazing!

This is on our road trip back up to Provo with Cody, Michelle, David, and I. Cody had the brilliant idea of sticking his head out of the window while we were going 75. But that honestly doesn't surprise me. He's a goof like that. But this picture just makes me laugh.

Here's David driving. No real point in this picture other than showing you that he was on the trip with us.

This was Michelle and I at the Vegas In-N-Out. Our last opportunity for good burgers before we got to the bubble (AKA BYU). Mmm.... those shakes are pretty much one of the best things ever in life. They are a delicacy. I will miss them dearly.

This picture was added to give thanks to the other love of my life - Neosporin. That stuff saved my life that week. My stupid nose was SO jacked up, I wanted to cry. At one point, I thought my nose would be gigantic for the rest of my life. For those who did not see me when I played the holiday-appropriate part of Rudolph, be grateful. It was not a pretty sight. But I am glad to say that my nose has completely healed, is back to normal size, and doing just fine. I have a tif against Kleenex now, but other than that, everything is great. Neosporin came out on top this year though. Good stuff that Neosporin.

Alright, so there you have it. Probably the extent of decent pictures for this semester because I will officially have no life. Classes are taking over, and I have no problem with that. I LOVE them. I'm a nerd, and proud to say it. I'm going to bed earlier every night and waking up early and having really good days. I started reading my scriptures in the morning and it truly makes a difference. I like it so much better than reading them at night, because that's never predictable. And that way, when I'm exhausted (such as this evening) I can just say my prayers and jump into bed - after my homework is done of course. But my days just go smoother that way and I feel like Heavenly Father has been blessing me as I've been trying to do better about my spiritual self. I have a really good feeling about this semester and I am SO excited about my future schooling. I've officially declared Exercise Science as my major and it's going to stick. I'm SUPER excited about the classes that I'll be taking and the direction that I can go with my major. It is the major that most Pre-Med students take, so who knows? Maybe in 3 years, I'll be in medical school. Now I'm seriously considering it. I love my life, and I love you all SOOO much. You are all missed and in my prayers every morning and every night. Thank you for your love and support and for being an awesome family. I'm so lucky to be blessed with such an incredible set of people to be a part of my eternal family. I love you all so much, and hope that sometime soon I will have something else exciting to post. Until then!
