I Love My Late Night Work Outs

So lately I've been working out almost every night. Its been about a month now. Haven't really seen results, but I'm still trying. But here's what I look like basically every night at around 11 PM or so. I was so hungry this last time, so I decided to eat some salad. Yes, I eat lots of fruit and salad and all that good stuff. I am trying really hard. Gotta look good in Italy.
So I have work out pants that I normally go running in, but this time they were dirty. And it was cold outside, so I decided to sport my sweet purple spandex pants. Now Colleen wants to get some hot pink ones to work out in. So I think Michelle might get some colored ones too, and then I decided to get some bright green ones too. So with Michelle, Colleen, and I we'll have some sweet work out garb. I'm excited about it. We'll see if it actually happens. But I did wear these again last night. I kind of like it, cuz then when I work out my legs, I can see my muscles :D Lame, I know, but it makes me feel good. Well, I better get back to my paper that I'm avoiding. LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!

This semester needs to be OVER!!!!!

I am SO tired of this semester! It needs to be done. I wish it were done today. Oh well, not much I can do about it. But Saturday was good cuz Michelle and I decided to go on a date :D We went grocery shopping, went to the volleyball game for a bit, went to Cafe Rio, and then went to Starbuck's. It was good to go do something. But yeah, here's just a picture of us being dumb at the volleyball game. You can really see how nasty my hair looks as I'm trying to grow it out. The other day, some girl in my ward says to me "Do you not highlight the top of your hair?" I just wanted to say "Really? Really, chick? Yeah, this is fun for me. I prefer to have my hair look like poo." But instead, I kindly responded with "Well, I'm just trying to grow it out, and its apparently not a pretty process." And then this other girl ends the conversation with, "Well, I've seen worse." Oh gee thanks guys! What a compliment. I gotta figure out some way for it to not look so bad. I need Helen soon. Anyways, just wanted to give some kind of an update. LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!

I'm The Worst Blogger In The World. Fact.

We love free Grand Slam's at Denny's :D We left our apartment at around 5:30 to get some free food. And yes. That's 5:30 AM!! We went to the Denny's in Orem cuz there was a better chance that we wouldn't have to wait in line. Which we didn't... except we sat in what the waitress called "The Dungeon" whatever that means. But it was great! College kids love free food!!!
This is Tristram and I inside a lagit igloo. Some kids from King Henry built a real one. Yes, big enough to go inside. So we went in and had a little party! This was the day before my birthday and he, Sarah, and I went to Tacano's and ate until we wanted to die. "Mind over matter, Elizabeth." That's what Tris kept telling me as I declared being full like 3 times before we all actually stopped eating. That's just how it works there. Love it.
Bub and I at my surprise birthday party that my roommates threw for me. It was awesome! They even spelled my name out of balloons on the wall. It was adorable. I love them all so much. Even though I was so stupidly mad at them up until the second I heard "SURPRISE!!!" walking in the door to the apartment. That was a funny little time. Oh, lies. I just realized this wasn't at my birthday party, but I already typed all that. So its staying.
Davi even made her way up to P-Town and said hello. It was fun to see her. She's such a great girl. I miss hanging out with her.
And then here's Sarah, Tristram, and I the night before my birthday when we went to their brother's concert. It was such a fun day hanging out with the both of them. I love the both of them soooo much!!!! I'm actully going to be living with Sarah when I get back from Italy and I'm SUPER excited about it. We have so much fun together and I think we complement each other really well. They're 2 of the most amazing people I've met in my life. I'm lucky to be their friends.

If you're reading this, I'm proud. Cuz that means you actually checked my blog in faith/hope that I actually updated it. So thanks! That's why I love you! I miss you all so so so so sooooooooo much!!! You really have no idea. I'm glad that we have blogs so we can feel like we're still a part of each other's lives even being so far away. New haircut!

And after... I like it a lot. Especially now when I look at pictures with my long hair. I like it so much better short. Plus, its easier. But yeah, I don't have much else to say. I'm coming home in a little over a week and I'm super excited cuz I'm getting a little burned out here. Especially with O Chem. Its killing me - and will be the death of me. Oh well. Its all good. I LOVE My FHE Family

I think that these pictures pretty much speak for themselves :D This was one of our FHE activities. High quality entertainment. I put a video at the end. Its pretty awesome. Basically what you do is stick your legs in the arm holes of a sweater and somehow fit your body in the rest. It was very amazing. This picture is Nate in the green and Mike in the gray.
This is most of us, minus me :( And then our friend John (in front middle and in gray) joined us.
Then a bunch of the guys raced down the street. Mike won! :D It was great. Cory tried to film it, but he switched night-vision off on accident. Whoops!

1/4 Of The Way Through The Semester!

Hard to believe that I'm already a quarter of the way through the semester. Exciting though, right? I just hope that I will be invited back to be a TA next semester so that every semester can be as great as this one. I really am loving school. Surprisingly enough, I am really loving Organic Chemistry. I don't know why, but I do love it. I took my first test and got a 93, which I am very excited about. But anyways, here come some more pictures. REMEMBER ME MY LITTLE NIECES AND NEPHEWS!!!! YOU ARE THE LOVES OF MY LIFE!!!!! Here is Laura (left), Courtney (right), and I at the UCLA game where we KILLED the stupid Bruins! That was really an awesome game though. Even though they just died, it was so fun to watch. Maybe just because it was UCLA. Or maybe just because BYU is amazing :D
Ok... so not the best picture of Jesse OR I, but the sun was so bright and I had to get a picture of us together at this game, and this was as good as it was going to get. I'm just glad I documented that we were together on that blessed day :D

Here is Laura, Courtney, and I at Sundance when we went when there was a full moon. They let you ride the chairlift for $8 at night when there's a full moon. It was so much fun. We all felt lame because every other chair had some cute couple on it, but we were ok with it. We love each other.
Ok, so here's my FHE family. We took family photos, and actually it was SO much fun. We really lucked out with the guys that we got in our group. They're all really really nice and really fun. Its funny because we got the apartment of guys in which contain the guys that all the girls in the ward have crushes on. And they like to hang out with us... so we like it.
We just had so much fun coming up with really lame poses and funny pictures that we could take. Alright, so left to right we have: Tyler (father), Courtney (mother), Jared, Mandi, Mike, Colleen, Cori, Laura, Bryce, Me, Nate, and Katy.
And I just LOVE this picture. I think it is so cool looking. We took this at the bottom of the spiraly stairs in the JFSB. Fortunately our friend John came along to take the pictures for us. But we all love this one and all (lame enough) put this as all of our profile pictures on facebook. Its awesome. We are amazing.
And this is just a cool picture of all the guys in the family (plus John) jumping off the stairs. Just thought it was a fun picture.
And here is just one of my favorite pictures that I took of Anthony and his wife Tierney. I really really like her. She is so cute and they are just so cute together. But we went up to Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon and took a whole ton of pictures for their announcement for their ceremony that they are having in October. Which, by they way, I will be taking their pictures. The only problem being that Tierney asked me to be a bridesmaid. So we'll see how that works out. I just might have somebody push the button. Or there's always and tripod and a timer. So we'll figure it all out.

But yeah, that's the update for now. I hope you're all showing these pictures of me to my little babes. I don't ever want to have a repeat of Davis and Jackson not remembering who I am. That was the worst thing of my life. So make sure they remember and love me :D I LOVE YOU ALL SOOOOOO MUCH!!!! I also miss you so much too! I love school and this is where I'm supposed to be or I wouldn't be able to handle being away from the people whom I love more than anything in this whole world. And I don't know if I used "whom" properly or whether or not it was supposed to be "who." But Mike, you'll probably know. Oh yeah! I have a blog. Whoops!

So... yeah... it's been like 5 months. Sorry guys. I guess I just didn't feel the need to update when I saw you guys all summer. But I'm doing it now that I'm back in the bubble, also known as Provo, UT. So here are a few shots from family vacation and then a few from my first week back.

I just love this shot of me and Savvy. We were just hanging out under the little easy-up (which wasn't so easy to keep-up) and we just decided that we would take a few pictures together. It was her idea, so I ran with it :D She looks a little scared/confused, but I still think it's cute. Plus, her cheeks look awesome. So yeah.
I just love this picture of Davis because it just illustrates that he loves the beach, but is just a little terrified of the water, so he just hangs out in the sand :D He's so dang cute! Also, I just love that his life jacket is basically bigger than he is.
I don't know if you can see the bucket on the right, but its there. This just goes to show you the genius of Owen Russell. He is so funny! I love how smart he is. I want to know if any of the adults there would have actually thought of that. He is just hilarious.
So this is Michelle and I at Tacano's BEFORE we ate. Tacano's is this awesome Brazilian grill that's only in about 3 locations is Utah. It's this place where you just sit at a table, and all the waiters and waitresses come by with huge plates of meat and you try all the different kinds. We asked the guy and he said that there are 18 different kinds of meat and then 2 seafood dishes. It's interesting because you get little tiny pieces, but by the time you're done, you are SO full...
Hence this picture AFTER we ate. (Well, Michelle didn't eat the meat, but she did eat a lot of salad and grilled pineapple.) But everybody else had faces like this. We took pictures of everybody that went and their "After Tacano's" faces. It was pretty classic. But it was way fun. Brother Miles was nice enough to treat us all to dinner. It was yummy! We as the meat-eating Dix Family would love that place.
This is Ilarene, Michelle, and I at the first game of the season. BYU vs. NO. Iowa. We won, of course. It was a pretty good game. But the real game was yesterday vs. UCLA (I will post pictures later - I already uploaded this photos yesterday morning and I don't like when they get out of order :D Yeah I know I'm weird)
This is Michelle and I utilizing my favorite feature on my camera. Pulling out the fact that we have Cougar spirit and were wearing white and blue. I just think this picture is funny. No real meaning to it :D

So school is great so far. I am really excited for this semester, I know its going to be great. Really challenging and I won't have a life this semester, but I'm going to enjoy it. I got to buy scrubs for my cadaver dissection lab and it was so fun. It's awesome because I put them on in the bathroom outside my classroom and I looked at myself and said "this is what you have to look forward to for the rest of your life... get used to it :D" But I felt really good about it. So I guess that's a good thing. But I've got to finish getting ready for church, I will update sooner or later. LOVE AND MISS YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!!
